Trans-national Corporations (TNCs) and Globalization
You will be assigned one of the corporations below. Using their corporation link (and other sources on the internet) research answers to the following questions.
Produce a short summary of the companies interests, products etc.
Outline the history and growth of the company - especially through the initialstages of globalisation.
Detail the production of one of the company’s products (the most important/well
known product?). Which countries are involved?
Does the company operate within LEDCs? If so does it have policies about the use of labour, resources, pricing etc.?
Detail the global market of the company? Which countries are involved? Are any
countries not sold to? If so, why?
You should have this completed for the last class of the week. It should be a short no more than ten slide Keynote or Power Point show. DO NOT CUT AND PASTE. Be sure to cite your sources using MLA. This page should be at the end of your slide presentation. A copy of the sources MUST be sent to using my email address hplouff@kis.or.kr
